It should come as no surprise after we hinted at this back in December and then posted about a possible 6" line yesterday, but reports that Hasbro will be producing a brand new 6" scale action figure line based on Original Trilogy characters with a few key Prequel characters as well.

Priced at $19.99, these 6" action figures will be more detailed and more articulated than the current 3 3/4" scale line.

The first of four waves is scheduled for an early to mid-August release and includes an Imperial Sandtrooper, Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot), R2-D2 and Darth Maul.

The current 3 3/4" Vintage Collection line will also continue under the new Black Series name.

Rebelscum is an open book when it comes to how excited we are about the 3.75 inch scale Jabba's Sail Barge - but our fervour might not be shared by everyone so we want to know what you think. Pick the option below that best fits your frame of mind.
Yes, yes and yes again - I've put my money down already!
It's only a matter of time before I put my pre-order in.
Awesome but I'm waiting for it to retail.
Love the concept but it's too pricey.
Maybe, but I'm worried about the crowd-funded concept.
No, I'm not into action figures collecting.
It's not available in my part of the world.
