Crazysteve from our
European forums has sent in a series of reviews magazines that are/were until recently available to Turkish
Star Wars fans:

The May 2005 issue of “
Film Arti” (Film Plus) has the most thorough Episode 3 coverage of any Turkish magazine I've seen so far. The cover uses the same picture of Anakin that appeared on the April issue of the UK magazine "Total Film" (#100), but the Film Arti cover has an additional flap that covers half of Anakin's body with a graphic of Darth Vader. Plus it also comes with a double sided poster measuring 22 inches by 32 inches with one side featuring Vader and the other featuring Anakin and Obi-Wan.

The May 2005 issue of “
Milliyet Kardes” has a three page article with pictures from the movie and short quotes from Lucas and Rick McCallum, plus it also comes with a fold out poster of Anakin.

The May 2005 issue of "
Bant” has 15 pages dedicated to the Star Wars phenomena and, unlike the film and movie magazines, it's more fan oriented with articles not only about Episode 3 but about the SW fan scene in Turkey. In a cool touch, the people behind one of Turkey's most prominent SW
fan sites get their own article with pictures and biographies.

The May 2005 issue of “
CD Rom Data Dijital Magazin” is a CD Rom with all sorts of music and movie coverage, including the second Episode 3 movie trailer in QuickTime format and 15 .jpg's of still frames from Episode 3. The movie trailer is in English with no Turkish dubbing.

The May 2005 issue of “
Altyazi” (Subtitle) magazine has a nine page Star Wars article and a Yoda cover.

The April 2005 issue of "Cocuk Arti" (Kids Plus) was the first Turkish magazine I found with Star Wars material on it. It has the Turkish version of the Episode 3 movie poster on the back cover. There is no other Star Wars content inside.

The May 2005 issue of “
National Geographic Kids has a small picture of Darth Vader on the cover announcing there's an RotS article inside. The text and pictures from the 3 page article can be seen online. The magazine comes sealed in a bag and the bag has a small circular RotS sticker on it that announces the magazine comes with a poster. It's the Turkish version of the RotS movie poster and it measures approximately 27 inches x 19 inches. There's a thick red border running the length of the poster's bottom with the National Geographic logo on it.

The May issue of "Sinema". It has an Anakin cover and comes with a really big (34 inches x 24 inches) version of the Turkish RotS movie poster. Unfortunately I can't find website information for Sinema magazine, but the poster is fantastic for those that love foreign SW movie posters.
