For the seventh year in a row Rebelscum has given top honors to the one Star Wars licensee that stands out among its peers. This year's honors go to
Hasbro based on the following criteria:
- Development of a high quality, collectible and desirable product line.
- Proven track record of listening to, and caring about what collectors think.
- A demonstrated understanding of the importance of working with on-line websites that serve the collecting community, of which Rebelscum.com is a part.
- Ability to make products available to collectors without resorting to the secondary market.
This is the third time that Hasbro has been honored for demonstrating a clear appreciation for both collectors and the collecting press. Accepting the award for the Star Wars team was Derryl DePriest, who appeared on the ForceCast's live recording on Day 1 of Celebration V. The award was later added to the Hasbro showcase for the world to see. Nice!
