Find out what's coming up in the Expanded Universe of Star Wars publishing. Editors Randy Stradley and Dave Marshall from Dark Horse Comics discuss what's next for Agent of the Empire, Dawn of the Jedi, Lost Tribe of the Sith, and Darth Maul, as well as reveal a new secret title that's on the horizon. From Del Rey Books editors Frank Parisi and Erich Schoeneweiss, along with author Troy Denning (Apocalypse), look at new novels coming later this year from fan-favorite authors Timothy Zahn and Aaron Allston, as well as give a peek into 2013. Also on the panel is Jennifer Heddle, senior editor at LucasBooks. Moderated by author Pablo Hidalgo (Star Wars: The Essential Reader's Companion).

Plus, be sure to stop by the Dark Horse booth (#2615) to get your limited copy of the John Jackson Miller autographed Knight Errant–Escape #1 SDCC convention exclusive (it's a sketch version of the Mike Hawthorne cover), plus various Dark Horse patches and pins.

Over at the Del Rey Booth (#2913D-in the Lucasfilm pavilion) you'll be able to get a copy of an 84-page sample book containing excerpts from all the original Star Wars novels Del Rey is publishing in 2012. The book also includes the short stories published in Star Wars Insider in 2011, as well as an X-Wing Mercy Kill iron on patch! They also have exclusive bookmarks from Scoundrels, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, and Chewbacca plus Winter (who is only available at SDCC!) And finally they also have some two-sided posters of the cover art for the upcoming The Old Republic: Annihilation and The Essential Reader's Guide!
