The Disney Parks Blog has just shown the official Star Wars Weekends Logo for the event taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 17-June 9, 2013 at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL. This year, we see Jedi Mickey along with Chip and Dale zipping away from Scout Troopers on the Forest Moon of Endor to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

Also revealed was Darth Maul actor Ray Park for Weekend I & II and Wicket the Ewok actor Warwick Davis for Weekend II & III who will join Star Wars Weekends Celebrity Hosts James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein. Stay tuned for more guest announcements as they drop!

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
