Longtime forum member and friend to Rebelscum and TheForce.net, Bret Calltharp, plays bass guitar in the band

The band is involved in a contest for WSUN 97X in Tampa as one of ten bands competing for an opening slot at the 97X "Next Big Thing" concert. If they win, they will get to play in front of an estimated 20,000 people and share the stage with bands such as My Chemical Romance, Chevelle, Against Me!, Finger Eleven, The Black Keys, Switchfoot and others.
Bret was part of the group that
traveled to Tunisia this summer with our very own Chris Wyman and is involved in the
SaveLars.com efforts. IF THEY WIN, Bret will be wearing a black shirt with "SAVELARS.COM" in big white letters as well as handing out information at their merchandise table to further publicize the efforts of this great cause.
The band is full of
Star Wars fans so they hope to get a few Stormtroopers on stage with them during the set to help show off their fandom.
