You might be thinking that this is a tenuous link to LEGO or Star Wars but we want to share how one 18-year old Star Wars fan used LEGO to improve his life and help inspire others around him.

David Aguilar, from the small European country of Andorra, was born with an arm that never fully developed while he grew up and from the age of nince has been using LEGO to build a prosthetic extension. While early versions were simple mechanisms, David is now utilising Mindstorms robotics to give himself more mobility and grip. And his nickname? Hand Solo of course!

Check out the video above and challenge yourself not to say "He's more machine now than man."

Thanks to Brick Fanatics for helping to spread the word on this amazing story.
