We received word from several readers over the weekend that as begun canceling outstanding orders for the shared exclusive TRU/Amazon Clone Wars Gunship. No mention was made regarding the impending split between Amazon and Toys 'R' Us, but it is assumed to be the cause of the cancellations. Here's what Amazon customers have been receiving:

Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize for the inconvenience we have caused you.

At this time it is still not known if Toys 'R' Us has saved the customer information and plans to honor these orders, or just plans to make the item available on their new site to re-order, but we will post that fact as soon as it is known. In the meantime, fans looking to add this toy to their collections may want to start hitting their local TRU stores, just in case...
