John from dreams & visions press wrote in to let us know about the newest updates on their site. The books are on their way to the states, but the folks at dreams & visions whet our appetites with some images of their sample copies.

Interested to know what you'll be getting for your pre-order payments? Well here's the scoop.

Trade Edition
The trade edition is the base model of this book. It is bound in silver-stamped black Dynic Saifu cloth, and comes with a dust jacket and illustrated slipcase. This edition is unsigned and will cost $125.

Cloth Wrapped Slipcase Edition
This edition is limited to 250 copies, bound in gold-stamped Dynic Saifu cloth with a full-color illustrated inlaid art strip, in a black Dynic Saifu cloth wrapped slipcase. These are individually numbered and hand signed by Ralph McQuarrie, Doug Chiang and Ken Ralston. This edition will cost you $300.

Deluxe Presentation Box Edition
This edition is limited to 52 copies. It is bound in gold-stamped genuine black sheepskin, with a dust jacket and a deluxe presentation box. Each book is individually lettered and hand signed by Ralph McQuarrie, Doug Chiang, Ken Ralston and Anthony Daniels. This version will set you back a paltry $750.

If you haven't placed your order, there are still a few copies left of all editions, but as John points out, "please act quickly, as at the current rate we're receiving pre-orders, we will be sold out of that edition before the books arrive." You can check out more images of the interior art at dreams & visions press.

Droid
Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
