First up this week is John Ostrander and Jim Hall's sequel to the 2006 hit Purge, entitled Purge–Seconds to Die, part of Dark Horse's One Shot promotion for the Fall. After Order 66, most of the remaining Jedi are hiding to survive—but not all. Sha Koon, niece of the esteemed Plo Koon, has narrowly escaped the attack on the Jedi Temple, and has been left full of questions about the dark side. Expect a no holds barred Jedi Purge extravaganza, during these darkest of times!!
Also this week is The Clone Wars #10, which is the first of a 3-part saga called "Hero of the Confederacy." As we found out in Revenge of the Sith's opening crawl, there "are heroes on both sides," and we get to meet one of them! The Confederacy is being provided with newer and more advanced ships from a world that has claimed neutrality in the Clone Wars. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fly to Valahari to negotiate with the planet’s rulers, but as events unfold, they find that diplomacy may have to give way to war! Henry Gilroy, Steve Melching and Brian Kolchak bring the characters from the television show to life.
