In case you missed it, the hit first issue of Brian Wood's Star Wars gets the Dark Horse '1 for 1' treatment. That means the first issue is only a buck! What better way to celebrate the best Star Wars series on the market today. Pick it up if you haven't already and see what everyone is talking about!

Also on the shelves today is The Star Wars #2 plus it's variant cover. Based on the original screenplay by George Lucas, The Star Wars re-imagines what might have been. Adapted by JW Rinzler (whose Making of Return of the Jedi book is out this week as well) and drawn by Mike Meyhew, this series provides an interesting look at familiar names, characters and situations in an entirely new context! And if you can, grab a copy of the Ralph McQuarrie variant cover, with his original designs for the main characters.

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: The Star Wars #2.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
