Straight from the Horse's mouth are the results of their Dark Horse 100 program which rewards 10 lucky comic shops with 100 variant cover comics exclusively available through this promotion. The following ten stores were chosen at random to receive 100 alternate cover copies of the upcoming Star Wars Dark Times debut issue for free. All issues, regular and alternate cover copies, are expected to arrive in stores by the first week of November.

The “Big Ten”:
The Dreaming Comics and Games, Seattle, WA
Collector's Paradise, Winnetka, CA
Clint's Books, Kansas City, MO
Magic Dragon Comics, Arlington, MA
Warp 9, Clawson, MI
Heroes and Villains, Hampton, VA
Cyborg One, Doylestown, PA
Dragon's Lair, Round Rock, TX
Up, Up & Away!, Cincinnati, OH
Demolition Comics, Tampa, FL

Fans of variant covers should be on the lookout in 2007, as Dark Horse will be repeating this practice with an alternate cover from the brand new upcoming series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8. Like Dark Times, the alternate cover will be a pencil sketch variant of issue #1 and will be limited to 1000 copies.

Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
