There's a brand-new
Star Wars comic book series from Dark Horse Comics heading to stores next month...a book where the story takes the
Star Wars saga into the realm of super-spydom.
STAR WARS: AGENT OF THE EMPIRE - IRON ECLIPSE #1 (of 5)
John Ostrander (W), Stéphane Roux (P/Cover), Julien Hugonnard-Bert (I), and Dave Wilkins (Variant cover)
Move over James Bond!
The name's Cross. Jahan Cross. Move over, James Bond; there's a new secret agent in the galaxy, and he has the weight of the Empire behind him!
Cross's mission takes him and his assistant IN-GA 44 to the affluent Corporate Sector. There, on the trail of stolen droid technology, they will rub elbows with diplomats and desperadoes, captains of industry and sergeants of the local police—and rub most of them the wrong way!
• A view of the
Star Wars galaxy from
inside the Empire!
• The author of the best-selling
Star Wars: Legacy and
Star Wars: Republic returns!
Set 3 years before
A New Hope, the first issue introduces Jahan Cross into the
Star Wars mythos and sets the stage for what promises to be a fun-filled romp through some very familiar territory. As the cover suggests, Han Solo & Chewbacca make a cameo appearance in the first issue...and without giving away any details, let's just say they are up no good as usual!
Not only does this series mash-up James Bond with
Star Wars...with wonderful nods to 007, I might add...but there's also a not-so-subtle nod to another popular property that I won't spoil here. Once you spot it, you'll dig it. (But it's okay if you don't).
As promised, here is a Rebelscum.com exclusive first look at three pages from the action inside this new title!
STAR WARS: AGENT OF THE EMPIRE - IRON ECLIPSE #1 goes on sale December 14 and is priced at $3.50.
