We got our first glimpse of the figures in this wave back at the 2007 Toy Fair, and then spotted them again durng Celebration IV. They were originally intended to be released this fall, when the game was scheduled to debut.

However, since the game was pushed back to spring 2008, the decision was made to also push back the toys relating to it. These figures will comprise wave 2 for 2008, packaged on the same style cards in The 30th Anniversary Collection, only without the coins.


08-09 - Imperial EVO Trooper
One of the new designed armor for the game, this trooper is a cross between the familiar Stormtroopers and a battle tank! Tons of added armor, a backpack, extra weapons and breathing tubes.


08-10 - Imperial Jump Trooper
Another new soldier of the Empire, this guy's armor is a mix between Commander Cody and the EVO Trooper, with extra weapons and breathing tubes, suggesting that this suit can be used in battle with little breathable atmosphere.


08-11 - Juno Eclipse
The first female Imperial Officer figure...although since this wave was delayed from 2007, it will actually be the second, since Deena Shan from the Comic Packs is a "pre-paint" of this figure and will be available first! Juno Eclipse is the romantic interest for Vader's Secret Apprentice, although not much else has been revealed about her. She has an interesting look to her, and she plays a pivotal role in the game's storyline.


08-** - Darth Vader
The new Dark Lord of the Sith returns for The Force Unleashed, and judging by the battle damage of this figure, he's still battling the surviving Jedi. Since Vader can't operate in the open in certain situations, he's taken a secret apprentice of his own (you, the player) to go on secret missions, leaving NO ONE alive to report back to Emperor Palpatine. This figure does come with removable mask and armor pieces, although they wouldn't come off easily, so we didn't force it.


08-** - Shadow Guard
This is the long-rumored "reverse trooper" that is basicaly just a repaint of the 2005 Royal Guard figure. In addition to the color switch, these guys have been given a unique lightsaber pike.


08-** - Maris Brood
A fallen Jedi in the game, Maris Brood fights against the Jedi with her unique lightsabers. There's been a change to this figure from what was originally shown at Toy Fair, where she was thought to be a hero character with a green lightsaber. Then she was shown with "Sith Eyes" and red lightsabers. Hasbro made the schange once additional details of the game were revealed.


08-** - Rahm Kota
One of the last surviving Jedi in the galaxy, this "samurai Jedi" comes with added armor, soft goods, and what looks to be a holster of some kind on his back.

This will be the only The Force Unleashed wave of basic figures in the line, although they're not the only figures that are coming! More details to be revealed soon, but first, let's check out another TFU-based line...the Unleashed Battle Packs!





Unleashed Battle Packs
There will be 3 Unleashed Battle Packs featuring 4 figures from The Force Unleashed: Imperial Troopers, Unleashed Warriors, and The Empire.

Imperial Troopers includes an Imperial EVO Trooper, an Imperial Jump Trooper, and 2 Felucian Stormtrooper Commanders.
Unleashed Warriors includes Maris Brood, Vader's Secret Apprentice, Juno Eclipse, and General Rahm Kota
The Empire includes Battle Damaged Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and 2 Emperor's Shadow Guards.
