Klaatu is a green-skinned Nikto, or Kadas’sa’Nikto, a species distinct for their scaly skin and symmetrical facial horns. A gambler and barge repairman, he was disarmed by Luke Skywalker at the Great Pit of Carkoon. As the destroyed sail barge crashed into Tatooine's sand dunes, this hardened warrior displayed loyalty to his host by remaining aboard.
