This week's books include three books from Scholastic plus another Clone Wars title from Grosset & Dunlap. As always, click thru on the links to see the Jedi Journals page for each title with all the information you'll need!
First up is
Rebel Strike #4:
Firefight, which is the continuing adventures of the deadly assassin X-7 and his missions against the Rebel Alliance, immediately after the destruction of the first Death Star. Author Alex Wheeler continues this ongoing young readers series.
Next is the third book in the Scholastic biography line,
A New Hope – The Life of Luke Skywalker. Ryder Windham explores the history of the Rebel Alliance's greatest hero, Luke Skywalker. Following in the steps of the Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi, this hardcover biography comes in a slipcase that features different artwork than the book itself, provided this time by Mike Butkus.
Scholastic also has a great title for all you new parents that want to present
Star Wars to your younglings.
Star Wars Spaceships is a board book that will tell your child why the X-wing is a great fighter, or how dangerous the Death Star is. Pow! Pow!
Also this week is the first book in the new
Clone Wars Secret Missions line,
Breakout Squad. This young reader title tells the story of Jedi apprentice Nuru Kungurama and his new squad of Clone Troopers, as they complete a dangerous mission in Wild Space. Ryder Windham is also the author of this title, from Grosset & Dunlap.
