With less than two weeks until International Star Wars Day our readers have been wondering what is in store for US fans so Rebelscum contacted LEGO to find out what their US brand stores have coming up.

While the offerings aren't as exciting as those in the United Kingdom or Europe, nor as grandiose as Australia, but it is nonetheless going to draw a crowd.

  • May 3rd: children aged between 6 and 14 can take part in a free Make & Take build to construct a free mini Tantive IV spaceship, which they can keep for themselves. Places are limited so check your local LEGO brand store webpage for sign up details.

  • May 4th: customers spending $75 or more on LEGO Star Wars products will receive a free 40333 Battle of Hoth - 20th Anniversary Edition set.
If you've got LEGO Star Wars info to share you can post your news in our LEGO forums and contribute to the community.

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practice of driving around all the nearby toy stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
