Newest Star Wars Books
Posted by Jay on October 26, 2006 at 08:55 PM CST:
What better way to celebrate 30 years of Star Wars then a new book by J.W. Rinzler, the author of The Making of Revenge of the Sith. The Making of Star Wars, will be released in paperback as well as hardcover in April of 2007, kicking off the celebration. It may be 30 years late, but this book will feature in-depth interviews, storyboards and anecdotes about the making of one of the most influential films to date. Look for 48 extra pages of goodies in the hardcover edition. StarWars.com has a complete story.

Also coming in April is what people in the book industry call a bind-up. Star Wars: Complete Cross Sections features a one-volume compendium of the Episode I, II, II and Classic Trilogy Cross Section books. Featuring art by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen, these incredibly detailed drawings reveal every nook and cranny from over 50 Star Wars ships and vehicles. Readers of this edition will also find never-before-seen versions of the TIE bomber, Imperial shuttle, and the A-wing and B-wing fighters. The full story is also at StarWars.com.
