R2DC is a gathering of people who are in various stages in their pursuit to build accurate replicas of Star Wars' most loved character: R2-D2. Through Astromechs we meet and exchange ideas and methods while creating acurate blueprints and diagrams. R2DC is an opportunity for these various people to get together in person to share techniques and ideas in a one day summit on Saturday, April 25, 2004, in Columbia, Maryland about half-way between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
There is something here for every builder and every skill level. Whether you are just beginning to build your first R2 or are starting to build a second or third droid there will be information presented that will be new and useful as you continue in the building of your droids.
