It has been three years in its making and worth every second of the wait. Sideshow has revealed their first 12" armoured Darth Vader figure at Comic-Con. The figure, which will have a $125 price point (subject to change if I got that wrong) will come with a lit and unlit Lightsaber and six hands. The helmet on the ANH Vader is not removable, but when collectors see this figure they will agree that it is everything they'd want in a figure based on the first film. Take a peek at the dry brush aging on the belt to see how accurate the figure really is. The team of designers, headed by Jared Chapman, worked long hours (and many years) to provide us with the best figure imaginable. The body is an upscaling of the body used for the Clone Wars Obi-Wan. When asked if this body would work on a Chewbacca figure, the SSC team cried a little. OK, not really, but it is clear that we're still going to be waiting a while for our Wookiee figures. The exclusive on this Vader will be a choking hand.

Now that you've had your first look at Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, the Probe Droid is curious what you think of the set.
I'm attending SDCC and will certainly get this awesome set!
I'm attending SDCC but have no interest in this line.
I'm not attending SDCC but hope to get this awesome set somehow.
I'm not attending SDCC and have no interest in this line.
I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
