The Star Wars: Collectibles Update panel is being hosted by Chris Spitale of Lucas Licensing. The companies taking part are Gentle Giant Studios, eFX Collectibles, Kotobukiya, and Sideshow Collectibles.


Gentle Giant Studios: (Ashly Powell)

Ashly thanks us for receiving the 2012/2013 Rebelscum.com Star Wars Licensee of the Year Award.

There is a Premier Guild exclusive Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Pilot Mini Bust coming soon (up for pre-order now).

There is a new Boba Fett Holiday Special Animated Maquette coming soon.

There is a realistic style Clone Wars Snowbunny Padme Amidala statue and a realistic style Clone Wars Yoda statue coming in the second quarter of 2014.

Gentle Giant will continue the popular Ralph McQuarrie Mini Bust line.

The 1:1 scale Kenner Vintage Stormtrooper Figure statue along with the other planned pieces will be $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 each. The Stormtrooper will go up for pre-order next month.


eFX Collectibles: (Bryan Ono)

eFX Collectibles Celebrates 5 years as a Star Wars licensee.

The Legend Darth Maul Lightsaber was cast from the original Episode I screen used prop and will be available for pre-order soon.

There is a new Legend Boba Fett helmet coming that was cast from the screen used Boba Fett helmet. It took two and a half days to cast the mold.

There is a Legend Stormtrooper Armor set coming soon. A private collector allowed eFX access to an original screen used full Hero suit to base the set on.


Kotobukiya: (Dan Lujan)

ARTFX Jango Fett will ship in August 2013.

ARTFX General Grievous will ship in November 2013.

ARTFX Sandtrooper 2-Pack and the single Squad Leader will ship in January 2014.

ARTFX R2-Q5 kit with gold coin will be a New York Comic-Con exclusive limited to 1,000 pieces. There will also be an International version with a silver coin limited to 2,000 pieces.

Bisoujo Mara Jade kit shipping in the first quarter of 2014.

ARTFX Han Solo and Chewbacca set coming in 2014.

ARTFX Luke Skywalker & Princess Leia set coming in 2014.

There is a second release of the Jaina Solo Bishoujo kit coming soon as the first edition sold out.


Sideshow Collectibles: (Brant Bridges)

There a 1:6 scale Commander Wolffe coming soon (now up for pre-order).

There is an Echo and Fives set coming soon (now up for pre-order).

The Deluxe Darth Vader 1:6 scale figure has a new body with a light up chest box that blinks which runs on a sequence.

The 1:6 scale General Grievous comes with four sets of arms and four lightsabers.

There is a 1:6 scale Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Tauntaun and Probe Droid coming:

The Luke Skywalker comes with two heads, a regular version with non-removable cowl and a battle damaged version.

The Han Solo will come with his correct Brown jacket and his infamous Blue jacket. He will also come with his Echo Base hairstyle and a non-removable headgear version.

The Tauntaun will come with two heads allowing collectors to choose between Luke or Han's beast.

The Probe Droid will come with sounds, lights and be featured on a snow-drift base.

The 1:4 scale Premium Format C-3PO & R2-D2 statue will be shipping soon.

The 1:2 scale Obi-Wan Kenobi statue has a revised portrait.

They've just revealed a life-size Yoda consisting of fabric clothes and realistic hair. His hands will be posed one on top of the other resting on his gimer stick.


Lucas Licensing: (Chris Spitale)

Chris discuses the Ralph McQuarrie Darth Vader Castle design that will be featured on the print and beer stein as an exclusive for Star Wars Celebration Europe II next week.

He also shows some of the other merchandise art like the Vaderhosen, Cantina Band, Speederbike items, the Rebel Alliance & Galactic Empire football clothing items, the Death Star soccer ball (or football) and the three Attakus figures that will all be exclusives at Star Wars Celebration Europe II next week.
