Everyone may be aware of the huge success of collector medallion give-aways at both Star Wars Celebration IV and Celebration Europe (see sw.com news: http://www.starwars.com/community/event/celebration/news20070612.html)
In October 2007, the "Star Wars Réunion II" official French 30th anniversary convention that took place in Paris (France) was celebrated with an official medallion (see sw.com news: http://www.starwars.com/community/event/fanclub/news20070905.html). It was sponsored by French collecting website MintInBox.net and could be won by attendees on their booth.
This official Lucasfilm approved medallion, inspired from the Boba Fett vintage action figure is a companion piece to the Celebration IV and Celebration Europe medallions.
This event being essentialy French, a limited quantity of the production was set aside to give "non-french" collectors a chance to get the medallion as well.
Now MintInBox.net is pleased to announce that a lottery opened to worldwide collectors (French excluded) is available from their website.
Winners of the lottery will be entitled to buy one medallion at production cost (unit price, contest handling, s&h...), a fair price compared to the secondary market value and availability.
