“Over the years of working in the designer toy space, I have developed a reputation for exaggerated features and storytelling details hidden within my designs,” Groman said. “Our Rancor monster is by no means an exception, with his oversized talons and viciously enhanced snaggletooth maw. Together with the incredible crafters at Sideshow, I pushed this design to be as striking, impactful and memorable as it was to me when I first saw this fantastic beastie all those years ago on the silver screen in that crowded, darkened theater.”
Fully sculpted in vinyl, the Rancor™ Designer Collectible Statue measures 12 inches (30.48 cm) tall, 17 inches (43.18 cm) wide, and 15.25 inches (38.73 cm) deep.
The Rancor boasts a textured, armored brown hide, with elongated arms and oversized talons. The articulated head, arms and wrist shackles allow collectors to pose the statue in a variety of ways.
The statue also comes with a Gamorrean Guard skull, which can either be placed on one of the Rancor’s claws or displayed alongside it.
