Buyers headed for Toy Fair this month will get the first looks at new Comic Images STAR WARS products – but we have a sneak preview for you. The company, known for its very popular Super-Deformed plush dolls (there are 11 in the STAR WARS line alone, including the iconic Darth, Chewy and Yoda) will debut no less than four groups of new products at the industry event, starting with four new STAR WARS Creatures Plush Dolls.

We know that Creatures are iconic and beloved: this line has been developed in order to respond to fan demand generated from our STAR WARS plush characters and vehicles. These 10” figures include (in alpha-order to show no favoritism!) Bantha, Rancor, Tauntaun and Wampa. Each is made from soft, huggable materials, lending comfort and bragging rights to each owner. Priced at $14.99 and soon to be available at brick & mortar and online retailers, they make terrific gifts. Give or collect all four!

Comic Images is also releasing new plush characters in its Masters of the Universe and Nightmare Nursery of Gloomvania lines. Look here for sneak peeks at those and new Comic Image’s STAR WARS Rag Doll Plush, STAR WARS Creatures Plush and STAR WARS Golf Club Covers. Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
