From MavArts.com:

Thank you for visiting Maverick Arts. If you are not familiar with me or my work, here is a bit about my background and interests. I graduated from Colorado State University in 1993 with a BFA in Graphic Design/Illustration and was awarded outstanding Senior Portfolio in the State of Colorado from the Art Director’s Club of Denver. I have specialized in comics, gaming, pin-up and entertainment illustration for more than 20 years.

Awards I have won include two time winner of the World Fantasy Art Show for Best Black and White Art, and my work has appeared in Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art several times. Along with having 6 books independently published of my fantasy and pin-up artwork, I have designed over 100 resin fantasy and gothic sculptures for 3 different international giftware manufacturers. I am also co-owner of MYNDzei Games LLC, which creates and market’s games illustrated by yours truly.

I live in a beautiful home in Colorado with fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains from my studio. I have a well known passion for motorcycles, which I ride, tour and paint. I am also an avid movie fan and have written 3 screenplays, with one in production in 2009. I also enjoy music of all kinds, scuba diving, gaming, martial arts and other diversions. Thanks for stopping by.

Poll
The new 75159 UCS Death Star has been announced and it's 99.5% re-release of a set, at an additional $100, that was only retired less than 12 months ago. How do you feel about this addition to the LEGO Star Wars line?
Ecstatic: it's LEGO Star Wars after all!
Great: I didn't get a chance to buy 10188.
Fair to middling: I like to build and it has some nice new additions.
meh: the UCS range is meant to be special.
Harrumph: 10188 is cheaper on eBay.
Fuming: abject failure in market research and imagination.
