Star Wars Fan Days Report: Collecting Panel
Posted by Curto on October 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM CST:
The Collecting Panel at Star Wars Fan Days was a presentation of Humorous Star Wars Items over the years by Steve Sansweet, Philip Wise, and Duncan Jenkins.

Starting out with a full line of Star Tours apparel, the presentation showcased everything from bizarre clothing, Underoos, posters, tape dispensers, odd vehicles, Marvel's use of bunny rabbit aliens in their comics (although personally, I dig Jaxxon and the Hoojibs!), bobbleheads, costumes for pets, and some other bizarre items.

One crowd favorite idea that was thankfully NOT made: Star Wars toilet paper that said "Wipe out the dark side!"

A short Q&A session followed, where a fan boldly asked Duncan if he had a spare $450, which puzzled not only Duncan, but the audience as well.

The parting comments were that there's nothing too ridiculous to buy....the more ridiculous, the better.
