Star Wars Kites Fly Over Maryland

"My name is Jason Brown. I'm from Gaithersburg, MD. I am also with the DCSWCC. I was recently
in Ocean City, Maryland. I wasn't expecting to see SW on the beach. However, there were several SW
masks on dummies, sporting SW kites I'd never seen before. These were prototype kites that are not out on the market, yet. The kites I seen were: Darth Maul square, an R2-D2 life-size, an Ep.3 Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader, Vader head, Vader with flames, Vader red diamond, and the COOLEST ---- An X-Wing Fighter!!!! To take it one step further, there was a Darth Vader and a Jedi on the beach. Vader was flying the Vader head kite, and a Jedi with sunglasses flying the X-Wing.






The store that was advertising them has a location on the boardwalk. It's called The Kite Loft.
They were taking in store pre-orders for the kites, but the kites will not be in stock for another two months. That's what they said. The X-Wing I believe was the most expensive, running around $50-55.00. They will have them on their website in the future at www.kiteloft.com.
