Our Rebel Spies have gotten some advance word on some juicy rumors on some upcoming Star Wars toys.
The Legacy CollectionBattle PacksAlthough the contents are still unknown for some of these sets, there are a number of battle packs slated for this summer's assortment. Taking inspiration from the movies and animated series, here are some new names to add to the rumor mill. The actual figures for these sets is not yet known...with one exception.

Geonosis Assault (Gunship pod & 2 clones...shown at Toy Fair)
The Clone Wars
Deluxe Figure & Vehicle Sets
As revealed at Toy Fair, the deluxe assortment is making a comeback in this line. While consisting of mostly repaints (at least initially), this line seems to be following the format last seen during the Episode III onslaught of merchandise: figure & mini-vehicle, mid-size droid, or action figure multipacks. (Here's hoping the army statue 3-pack assortment stays retired...)

Crab Droid
Clone Troopers with Jet Packs
Turbo Tank Gunners
Transformers Crossovers
This line continues in 2009 with the best of both worlds! Transform your favorite Star Wars character into his/her/its vehicle. New additions to the line are said to include:
Ahsoka Tano / Jedi Starfighter
Magnaguard / Magnaguard Starfighter
