Star Wars Spotlight: Transformers

We first uncovered hints of this line early last summer, but weren';t quite sure what to make of the news. Star Wars characters turned into Transformers toys? What could this be? Can it be real?
Well, by now you know the rumors are indeed true. And while the jury is still out on if this will be a successful line, you have to admit, these do look pretty impressive. There are over a dozen toys planned for 2006, with the following four making up the initial assortment.
 
Darth Vader/ TIE Advanced
The Dark Lord of the Sith transforms into his prototype fighter from A New Hope. Includes a mini Darth Vader figure.
 
Obi-Wan Kenobi/ Jedi Starfighter
The Jedi Master changes into his ill-fated starfighter he flew in the opening of Revenge of the Sith. Includes a mini Obi-Wan Kenobi figure.
 
General Grievous/ Wheel Bike
The cyborg leader of the droid armies is able to turn into his super fast escape craft from Revenge of the Sith. Includes a mini General Grievous figure.
 
Luke Skywalker/ X-Wing Fighter
The former farmboy becomes one with the Force in A New Hope, and now he can become one with his spaceship as well. Includes a mini Luke Skywalker figure.
