For Immediate Release:

(Columbus: July 15, 2005) COSI is proud to announce it will be the first official stop on a multi-year, U.S. tour for the new blockbuster exhibit Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination. The Museum of Science in Boston in conjunction with Lucas Films LTD has created the exhibit. The world premiere opens in Boston on October 27, 2005 and runs through April 2006. Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination will make its Columbus debut June 3rd, 2006 and run through Labor Day, 2006.

In the exhibition guests will encounter props, artwork, models and film clips from all six Star Wars films. The purpose of this one of a kind tribute to the films will be to explore the science behind the technologies of today and tomorrow. It will also display the numerous parallels between technologies in the films and those in the real world in three major theme areas: Getting Around, Robots and People and A Place to Live. Guests will explore amazing prototypes in progress and learn about the engineers and designers who are creating new technologies. Throughout the exhibit, guests will notice intriguing similarities between how scientist and filmmakers think.

Pricing for the exhibit will be determined this fall. Columbus will be the first and only official stop in the Midwest followed by:
