Our first stop at Toy Fair this year was with Gentle Giant Studios, who had a lot of really nice pieces on display. Let's start with the Star Wars Animated line, which has several new additions this year.

On display were the C-3PO and his Jawa nemesis, Yoda on his trusty Kybuck from the Clone Wars cartoon, a Stormtrooper, and a pair of exclusives: Yoda with R2-D2, and Mace Windu from the Clone Wars cartoon. Be sure to watch for more details on these last two later this year, like just where they will be available.

In addition, several prototypes were on display (no pictures, please) of Han Solo, Chewbacca (REALLY NICE!), and a brand new line of vehicles that you have to see to believe.

These are a super-deformed style of statues that allow the artists at Gentle giant to really get creative and showcase some crazy sculpts. There was a Biker Scout on Speeder Bike, roaring through a cloud of exhaust fumes, and a TIE Fighter with the Pilot sticking out of the hatch...this guys is ready to fight the Rebels, complete with brass knuckles!

Check out the full galery of the Gentle Giant Star Wars Animated line here.
Stay tuned for more from Toy Fair throughout the weekend.
