For your viewing pleasure, we've got a new gallery of 3 "new" battle packs for The Legacy Collection. If you were waiting for something new...these aren't the sets you're looking for.

Some familiar figures are coming back to store shelves this year, now with the new look for The Legacy Collection.

This marks the second (or third) time these sets have been released, so one could safely assume these are meant for new fans or younger fans who didn't pick them up previously. Longtime collectors can probably just skip these.

The new sets are:
  • Clone Attack on Corsucant (previously released in the TAC and ROTS lines)
  • Jedi Training on Dagobah (previously released in the TAC line)
  • Jedi Vs. Darth Sidious (previously released in the TAC and TSC lines)

The most obvious question for collectors is: Why release these again? and the most obvious answer would be so that Hasbro can meet the expected demand by re-releasing figures that haven't been available for awhile, would generate interest for kids, and that can utilize tools that are not in use elsewhere.

Since there's an updated version of the Coruscant Clone Trooper in the basic figure line, this might be a nice tie-in with the Clone Attack on Coruscant set. Of course, army builders seem to always welcome clones, and now there's a variety to choose from.

While these are only early photos, it looks like the Darth Vader figure in the Jedi Training on Dagobah set is a different sculpt from the previous release, which would make him "new enough" to pick this set up.

Sadly, it looks like the Agen Kolar figure in the Jedi Vs. Darth Sidious STILL has the incorrect colored lightsaber, and for some reason, he has lost his sleeves? Time will tell if this will be the case.
