Here we go...the Star Wars presentation is the first one up. The first thing they do is thank the fans.

The Vintage Collection continues on until 2012. Something ties into the 3D and blu-ray releases.

Something BIG is coming....not an ATAT.

The Clone Wars
Figures: First wave shown is Ahsoka, El-Les, Anakin Skywalker, Commander Wolffe, Aqua Battle Droid, Eeth Koth, Barriss Offee. More rumors confirmed.

Deluxe sets: General Grievous Wheel Bike, Boba Fett speeder, Cassus speeder, Clone Scout Speeder, Separatist Speeder, plus a few more.

Vehicles: RC Republic Fighter Tank.

BMF Vehicle: Republic Attack Shuttle ...2 different modes. Looks great. Includes mini scout ship.

35 figures in 2011...movies and beyond. "Deleted Scenes" figures!

Wave 8 includes Bastila Shan, Echo Base Trooper, Ponda Baba (removable arm and 2 sets of hands included)

wait for it...something special. 12 figures with Revenge of the Jedi cards!

This line is ending. To be replaced with new small JEDI FORCE figures. 2-packs, vehicle sets. Think of the older 7" figures, shrunk down. Millennium Falcon looks prety cool.

Ultimate FX Lightsabers
Only $35...kid-focused. Basically the Force FX lightsabers, but now plastic and will have the sounds and lights as well.

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practice of driving around all the nearby toy stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
