reported last month of a similar collection from spanish Planeta deAgostini, so reader Andrew wrote us in to inform that DeAgostini UK is also issuing the
Star Wars Official Starships & Vehicles Collection.
According to the
official website the 60 authentic and fully painted starships and vehicles models are cast in metal with plastic parts and will be accompanied by a fully illustrated magazine depicting the object’s history and background as well as its pilot’s. Both will be available on a bi-weekly basis at newsstands and to subscribers. Should you decide to become one of the later, you’ll also be the lucky owner of an exclusively commissioned 21 cm (8 inch) Darth Vader statue plus the official
Star Wars 30th anniversary poster and issue #2 all at no extra expense (upon first delivery).
