Our Rebel Spies are hard at work again and they've uncovered another juicy rumor list for everyone's reading pleasure. As always, keep in mind this is a rumor list, and not an official confirmation. More details, if there are any, will be announced at a later date. But for now, let the speculation begin!

What's interesting about this list is that it's for Vintage figures, a line (VOTC/VTSC/VTAC) that was popular with collectors in 2004, but seems almost uneccessary now. The level of articulation and details in the basic figure line has certainly caught up to the VOTC standard, and there have been several polls conducted to help Hasbro determine the future (if there is any) for this line. The addition of Prequel Trilogy and Expanded Universe characters may inject new interest into the line, so if this list turns out to be true, but the number of main to get this treatment will still be rather limited.
Although some fans are clamoring to see the line continue to update the original vintage Kenner figure line, most are not in favor of the higher pricepoint or of the dedicated clamshell this line includes (which needs to be cut open in order to get the figure out).
As with any rumor list, take this all with a grain of salt, because it's not official, and may just be idle speculation. But that's part of the fun of being a fan, isn't it?
