Teedos were a sentient reptilian species native to the planet Jakku. They were diminutive in height and had gray-green skin, most of which was covered in wrappings to protect them from the intense heat of their homeworld. Teedos made no distinction between individuals, and so each member of the species was simply named Teedo. The species experienced an unknown form of telepathic connection between individuals, and Teedo were known to recall events that happened to other Teedo. They spoke a language called Teedospeak, which is just adorable. For The Force Awakens, Teedo was portrayed by Kiran Shah in a suit, and voiced by David Acord.

The figure shown here was released in 2015 as part of The Force Awakens assortment. Listed as "Jakku™ Scavenger", he was sold in a multi-pack with Unkar's Thug and BB-8. Teedo's articulation is the standard 5-points that are common to this assortment. He features the staff he is shown with in the film, and the rest of the pack includes a blaster pistol for Unkar's Thug and a projectile-fired net to "capture" BB-8. His mask features nice a metallic paint application, while the rest of his paint is very minimal.

A sort of mixture between a Jawa and a Tusken Raider, this character design is very Star Wars, and very fun. Sadly, we have not yet been given the Luggabeast that Teedo was shown riding in the film. Hopefully someday Hasbro will release one and Teedo can get his ride back. Click here to see our photo archive entry.
