What's Next For Hasbro?

Always in motion, the future is...and our Rebel spies have been working overtime to uncover some tidbits of what's in store for the future of The Saga Collection.


Battle of Endor
There's been some question about which figures were shown at Toy Fair, and whether it was the whole wave, or just part it. This wave has changed so there are now only 5 figures in this wave: Chief Chirpa, Moff Jerjerrod, Death Star Gunner, C-3PO (Ewok Throne) and the Emperor.

Assault Vehicles
Due out around September, the Hailfire Droid and 'Droid Federation Tank' (presumably the AAT) will be back in the new packaging. It's still unknown if they're straight repacks or if they'll be repainted. Also be on the lookout for BOTH Darth Vader's Advanced TIE (shown at Toy Fair) and Darth Vader's Black Starfighter. Presumably a black repaint of the ROTS Jedi Starfighter.

New Darth Vader
There's a Darth Vader figure in the Battle of Tatooine and Battle of Endor that's been dubbed 'Bespin Battle Vader' or 'Bespin Confession Vader'. This is supposed to be different than the Battle of Hoth version, suggesting it's a different figure.

Galactic Heroes
Confirming our earlier report, wave 3 will consist of Greedo & Han Solo, Sandtrooper & Obi-Wan Kenobi, TIE Pilot & Wedge Antilles and Luke & Han as Stormtroopers.

Naturally, all of this is subject to change and nothing is really OFFICIAL until Hasbro announces it.

George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
