What's Next For The 30th Anniversary Collection?
Posted by Curto on June 20, 2007 at 03:36 PM CST:
Wave 6 - Featuring characters from The Empire Strikes Back

30-38: Han Solo (Bespin Torture Rack)
The captain of the Millennium Falcon is a prisoner of the Empire on Cloud City, and they mercilessly torture him. Figure comes with a torture rack!

30-39: Lando Calrissian (Smuggler)
Taking a fashion cue from his smuggling buddy Han Solo, the former Baron Administrator gets all spiffy in his new clothes.

30-40: General McQuarrie (Hoth Trooper)
The man who designed the look of that galaxy far, far away gets his own action figure, based on his brief appearance in The Empire Strikes Back.

30-41: 4-LOM (Bounty Hunter)
This protocol droid bounty hutner never looked so good!

30-42: McQuarrie Signature Series - Concept Snowtrooper
Ralph McQuarrie's original conceptual design for this soldier of the Empire comes to life with this detailed action figure.

Wave 7 - Featuring characters from Return of the Jedi

30-43: Ewoks 2-pack: Romba & Graak
Those cuddly, yet deadly, little furballs are back in a special 2-pack!

30-44: A-Wing Pilot (Tycho Celchu)
With extra articulation and attention to detail, the A-Wing Pilot gets a major overhaul. And fans of the EU will be excites, because this is Tycho Celchu from X-Wing: Rogue Squadron!

30-45: Spirit of Anakin Skywalker
Purists will hate this figure, because it comes complete with Hayden Christensen's likeness, but this new take on the spirit figures is a nice improvement over earlier versions.

30-46: R2-D2 (Endor deco)
The fiesty little astormech droid is captured by the denizens of Endor...but not for long! Also comes with a large capture net, to ensnare his fellow Star Warriors.

30-47: McQuarrie Signature Series - Concept Han Solo
The final figure in the "McQuarrie Fantastic Five"...this is an early incarnation for Han Solo....with a little bit of Obi-Wan thrown in as well!

Very special thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending these great new images.
