IGN's Eric Goldman has today's exclusive Star Wars Rebels reveal: the alien rebel Zeb Orrelios, voiced by Steve Blum. "Zeb comes from a never before seen species," Goldman writes, "though big Star Wars fans will recognize Zeb's basic look." (I think I do.)

We've embedded the video introducing Zeb below. Scroll past it for some thoughts on Rebels and Zeb from Blum.

Here's Blum on his new character:
...Zeb challenges every acting skill in my arsenal and beyond. His character design is amazing. I get to vocally take on ape-like physical power and abilities, a wicked sense of humor, intelligence and integrity, and so much more that I can't yet reveal. The attention to detail from the entire production team is inspiring. Every bit of minutia is carefully crafted to satisfy the most discerning fan of the franchise. I'm humbled and honored to be a part of the Rebels crew. I promise I will dig as deep as I'm allowed to give you guys the performance I would hope for as a fan. Get ready, guys. You're in for one helluva ride."
Head over to IGN for the full reveal.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
