Did you know that the first twelve figures in the classic Kenner action figure collection were shipped in staggered waves in 1978? It isn't completely clear which figures came out when, but the first four were Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2), Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, and Chewbacca and the last three were the Sand People, Jawa, and Death Squad Commander.

To promote the last three figures, Kenner sent retailers these cool point of purchase shelf danglers.

The dangler in the auction linked above is currently valued between $4000-5000. If you are interested in acquiring it, keep those numbers in mind.
