One of the most important steps in making a feature film the scale of a Star Wars movie is the pre-visualizational story boards. These sketches are usually created in meetings with a director or visual effects supervisor and an artist (throw in at least one producer nine times out of ten). The point is to put the rough framing the director is envisioning on paper before going to camera. As anyone who works in film can tell you, these are only rough guides, and framing -like everything else in Movie Land- is finalized on set with actors and skilled technicians, but the story boards are always the first step. Follow this link to check out a page of story board sketches drawn up by artist Ivor Beddoes for The Empire Strikes Back.

Now that you've seen the prototypes of Hot Toys' upcoming Movie Masterpiece Series MMS261 Han Solo and MMS262 Chewbacca 1/6 scale figures, our ever inquisitive Probe Droid is tasked to find out whether you are going to collect the line.
Hot Toys had me at "Hello There"
1/6 scale collecting has just lept forward. I'm in!
I hope the actual products are better than the prototypes, and if they are I'm interested in collecting this line.
This will be my first venture into the realm of 1/6 scale collecting...
I'm a 1/6 scale collector, but I'm not interested.
I'm not a 1/6 scale collector, so no, I won't get into this line (yet).
