HISTORY:

Supervised by Ralph McQuarrie, this Darth Vader Concept Helmet is a recreation of a pre-production design concept for the character produced back in 1976. Concept designs often present ideas that are more complex or complicated than a movie production actually requires. They usually remain as flat art chronicling the evolution of a design, but eFX partnered with Ralph McQuarrie to liberate his chosen design from off the page to realize its full 3D potential.

It comes in three pieces - the dome, face plate and rear neck guard - which assemble into this unique and fearsome angular depiction of the dreaded Dark Lord of the Sith - Darth Vader.

The Ralph McQuarrie Darth Vader Concept Helmet is a strictly limited worldwide edition of ONLY 250 PIECES. Each helmet comes with a custom stand and a special plaque signed by visionary illustrator, Ralph McQuarrie.

Vader began life as Anakin Skywalker, a young slave skilled in the ways of the Force and recognized by the Jedi as the possible Chosen One: someone who would bring balance to the Force.

During his training Anakin's boundless abilities fueled a sense of pride and he chafed under the rigid strictures of the Jedi Code. Transgressing his Jedi teachings, he secretly married his love Padmé Amidala. When he became plagued with prophetic visions of his wife dying in childbirth he turned to his friend Chancellor Palpatine, in truth the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who revealed to the troubled Jedi that a pathway to immortality lay among the teachings of the Sith. Agreeing to follow Sidious' teachings in order to save his wife, he knelt before his dark master betraying everything and everyone he believed in and became Darth Vader.

There is no extra charge to use our optional payment plan; however, there are cancellation fees.
