After months of waiting, Hasbro has revealed today at Toy Fair, just which character came out on top in the latest Star Wars Fan's Choice poll! The winning character is... Mara Jade Skywalker! Look for the Jedi version of this popular Expanded Universe character to be added to the line in 2013. Stay tuned for more from Toy Fair all weekend long!

Hasbro announces a new line called Star Wars AMP’D. More details to be announced (probably tomorrow), but for now, here is what they've announced:
"In fall, kids can gear up for battle with STAR WARS AMP’D. For the first time ever, kids will be able to quickly and easily customize the most iconic STAR WARS vehicles and prepare them for any mission: land, space, sea or air! In 2012, the line features 9 figures and 6 vehicles."
UPDATE: Image added of what looks to be an interesting vehicle that can be rearranged to simulate other configurations.

The upmarket men's ShortList Magazine is releasing a special Star Wars themed issue this week. Creator George Lucas actually lends his thoughts in a letter welcoming fans to this special edition. The free magazine can be found mainly outside tube stations in the United Kingdom. Also, check out their 50 Star Wars Quotes article!

Walmart.com has leaked a new photo of Hasbro's upcoming MTT vehicle (the BMF for 2012). The photo is part of a series of 3D images that you can view. Kudos to Yakface.com for uncovering this!

Official Star Wars artists Mick & Matt Glebe has created a special one-shot comic book called Star Wars: Vagabond, and you can download it for free! The story deals with the tortured soul of none other than Darth Vader. The book will be available February 11th, at Twynsunz.com.

Kinect Star Wars is coming! Slated for an April 3rd release, the Kinect motion capture peripheral will allow you to actually become part of the game and control your favorite characters! To properly promote the release, Microsoft is offering up a Star Wars-themed system all decked out like your favorite droids. Check out more details over at Yahoo and Engadget. George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
