Beast Kingdom is on a role as of late. They seem to have found their stride by producing fan favorite characters at a much more affordable price. The initial line of Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, and Sandtrooper all debuted at a price point of $124.99. They seem to have cut the price to about $74.99 (depending on where you buy it from) without cutting the quality. Let's get into why these are another must have from the line.
EAA-039 Star Wars Rogue One Death Trooper
This is simply a great character design. This model comes with both his unique blaster and side arm. The sidearm can be attached to the hip via hook when not in use. The addition of the green led mouth filter lights was just brilliant and adds a lot of depth to this figure. You have the option to display him as the specialist with the shoulder pauldron and chest grenades or you can carefully remove both. This requires taking off the head and maneuvering it off of the body because there is no latch to the harness. I kept it on here because it is quite troublesome to take it off. I would have preferred if there was a slit to remove the pauldron easier and a snap at the back of the harness but that criticism aside, this is a great figure.
EAA-040 Star Wars Rogue One Shore Trooper
This appears to be the popular one of this wave. It is sold out most places for some reason. I love the design and the overall aesthetic. They went with the captain version, although some websites are showing the standard version as well, perhaps a chase variant? We will dig into that one more. For now this is another awesome looking figure that comes with the new blaster introduced in the movie and a metal version of the E-11 blaster with the flashlight. Same as the one that came with the EAA-046 Stormtrooper.
