The latest comic from Dark Horse is Star Wars: Purge, a one-shot issue that features the last stand of the Jedi. Beautifully illustrated by Doug Wheatley and Chris Chuckry (artists on the Revenge of the Sith adaptation), this tale by John Ostrander takes place after Order 66 is still being carried out across the galaxy. As the Jedi are being hunted down by the new Dark Lord of the Sith, a small group gather together to decide what their next step should be. But Vader's revenge against the Jedi cannot be denied!

Darth Vader continues to wipe out the remaining members of the Jedi Order. What did you think a comic called Purge would be about?

This issue features several background Jedi from the films and EU including Sia-Lan Wezz, who made her debut in the Invasion of Theed Adventure Game. As a special tribute, Adam Hughes provides the cover for this issue, reuniting him with the character he designed for the game.

You can check out an online preview of this issue here.

George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
