The very first promotional piece for the Star Wars Miniatures Game is making its way to retail. Barry's store received their promo today, and this is what he had to say about the piece:

"I work in a comic store, and we got in a promo from Wizards of the Coast of the new SW miniatures game. Evidently this is the only piece available at the time. It's a Mon Calamari Mercenary. He's about an inch tall, and amazingly painted, with some fantastic sculpting. The bottom of the base reads "Origins 6/04", "Fringe 10", then his name and the copyright info. The cards that came along with it is a standard card size, and is made from a card-stock that's not glossy, so it doesn't fingerprint easily. (Good for collectors!) Based on this piece, I've bumped my orders up. It looks like this game is going to be awesome! I thought this would be of interest to you!

-Barry"

Sounds exciting, thanks for the review Barry! We can almost certainly look forward to more information and images of this line at next month's International Comic Con in San Diego. Stay tuned!
