With the upcoming DVD release of the original versions of the Classic Trilogy, hasbro will once again be releasing a boxed set of Commemorative DVD Collections. Sure, it's nothing but repackaged figures from the past...but there are some good choices in here.

Commemorative Episode IV DVD Collection
includes the following figures:
  • Darth Vader (25th Anniversary)
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi (25th Anniversary)
  • Luke Skywalker (Tatooine Encounter) * most recent version

    Commemorative Episode V DVD Collection
    includes the following figures:
  • Han Solo (Bespin Capture)
  • Chewbacca (Boushh prisoner) * most recent version
  • Stormtrooper (Death Star Escape) * most recent version

    Commemorative Episode VI DVD Collection
    includes the following figures:
  • Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight) * most recent version
  • Emperor Palpatine * original version
  • C-3PO (VOTC)
  • R2-D2 (Jabba's Sail Barge)

Note: It is not yet known if these will be exclusives or what the price will be. Since past DVD commemorative sets were exclusive to Wal-Mart, it is likely these will be as well...although that's not officially known yet. Also, previous sets were priced at $9.99, which if history repeats, that is a great price for these sets, especially considering today's prices. However, once again, thee details are not yet known.

    Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
    Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
