Sideshow Collectibles has just announced that they will be producing 12” Lord Of The Rings figures. This of course is great news for anyone who loves the books and movies, especially when one considers how nasty the Toybiz 12” line was. While this should be fantastic news by itself for toy collectors around the world, it is also promising news for collectors of the astonishingly well done Sideshow 12” Star Wars line. Considering how many key LOTR characters are either Hobbits or Dwarves, Sideshow will have to create a smaller 1/6 scale body. That means the door has just been blown wide open for figures of Anakin Skywalker from The Phantom Menace, Jawas, Ugnaughts, and any other smaller scale creatures from the Star Wars Saga.
