As a habit when choosing eBay Today auctions, feedback is always checked before a new edition is published. When we stumbled across the auction for the Ralph McQuarrie signed Artist Proof Darth Vader Concept Helmet, it looked like an ideal subject for the column, and since we're writing about it you could say it was in fact an ideal subject indeed, just not the one we were originally looking for. After looking at the seller's feedback what seems like a sure thing now seems like there is more to the story than is stated. While we aren't say to stay clear of this auction, we would ask that you use caution before bidding.
