C-3PO AND R2-D2 Rebels Mission Series MS02 C-3PO and R2-D2 2014 Rebels Mission Series

C-3PO and R2-D2 unknowingly play a part in helping the Rebels intercept a shipment of Imperial weapons.

The first wave of Hasbro's Rebels Mission Series, or if you prefer the fourth wave of the Mission Series collection, featured three debut action figures and seven re-offered action figures in five two packs including the MS01 Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios and Stormtrooper, the MS02 C-3PO and R2-D2 pictured here, the MS03 Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, the MS04 Yoda and Darth Sidious, and the MS05 Boba Fett and Stormtrooper sets. Originally revealed in the Hasbro showroom at the International Toy Fair, the Assortment began hitting shelves in North America in November 2014.

This set features two newly sculpted action figure based on our favorite Droids as they appeared in the Star Wars: Rebels animated series.

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practice of driving around all the nearby toy stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
